Hi Oxo,

Naca 2412 is very symetrical foil, and it's for high speed, i think.

Watch this chart,

I suggest ClarkY or similar type asymetrical foils.
Jooukowsky will be better but you cant flight in windy days. ClarkY is enough
Melih, now i got your point.

I chose this profile after reading a german site, aerodesign.de. The writer says that this profile is "insensitive to stall and building inacurracies", these were my keywords Big Grin (same statements on the german wikipedia page).

Another point is, that i don't just want to fly as slow as possible. Some fast flying would also be very great. I guess the ClarkY is drawn incorrect in this picture (the central line should go through the middle of the nose edge, not along the lower side).

But finally i'm not an aerodynamics expert at all. I'll see how she flies. The wing is already built, so i just can hope that the landing speed is in a tolerable range...

cheers
Simon
Hi Simon,

Interesting project, I started to build the same plane wingspan 2,6m.
Next week I will put some fiberglass around the fuselage.

Looking forward to see more of your project!!

Regards,
Tom

Anybody know where I can get or download plans of something like this type of plane?
