This is so awesome Melih!
Good work!!!
That's great, Melih! As I've seen this video, I've got a few tips for you:

  1. Is it possible to center the information line? I think it may be better to see it in the centre of the screen, than in left corner.
  2. Didn't you think about grafical vario, too? It may be only size of one character: ^ for ascending, v for descent and - for horizontal flight... For those who don't want (or like) sound alarms
  3. What about configurable sound alarms? When the speed is too slow, distance from home too far, altitude too low... Maybe usefull, without even touching the screen! When you did so beautiful configuration tool...
  4. Some OSDs have also configurale visual alarms - when some parameter reach predefined value, it starts flashing on screen. It's nice alternative to the previous point...

As long as I know you, you already did some of those, but you know, I have to ask Big Grin
Hi Jameson,

Yes i will add a graphical vario before release it.
And already have configurable sound alarms on configuration tool for voltage, current, capacity , distance and rssi values. and including a user configurable tonegenerator for design your own alarms Smile

About centering, i'm working already about that, it will good option but personally i like left corner usage. Big Grin

Please feel free about any idea and questions. This is one man show, i'm designing, buying, soldering, packing and sending by my hands. And the good ideas welcome Smile

Cheers

That cool Heiko, waiting to hear more.

Melih, Just as soon as I can get back on my feet, no job. I do plan to buy your equipment.
I also soon Like to bye a simple OSD. But will there come a Stronger current sensor? My Quadrocopter use 70A at full thrust. an especial for my quadrocopter i Need a Current sensor

and I have one more question there are 4 solder pads for batteries on the current sensor. could i plug there two different batteries (one for FPV one for engine?)

Jack
Hi Jack,

you can use 2 current sensor for your Quadrocopter. 1 for left right, one for front and rear motors. SimpleOSd supporting 2 current sensors. But this is not best way for this. Allegro producing 50-100-130-200A current sensors in same package. But crisis affected the all sector and they are no stocks.
i just found a dealer where they are in stock: http://de.farnell.com/allegro-microsyste...dp/1521725 are this the Right one?

Hi Alex,

Yes, this is right component. You can buy it from farnell and replace my sensor with 100A one. Dont buy my current sensor, just inform me when you order, I will send a sensor board except sensor.

I was planed selecitble current sensor option on OSD, i will finish it with your push. Big Grin
