Anyone got a Futaba 7Cap Running Flytron(Damntronics) DT-3K Head Tracker?
The training mode confuses me on My Tx
Im using Channel 5-6
So in the Trainer Mode i changed this to:
I Changed INH To OFF
Channel Set Up
1-
2-
3-
4-
5 N
6 N
7-
I can get the Ht to work no problem, but i have to hold the trainner switch on for the HT to work normaly as soo as i let go it resets to center - is this normal?
I guess i will have to de solder another switch and replace it with the current switch to be on and off with out holding
Im sure i read that i could change my trainner switch channel to Switch "H"
But so far, its so cool to have the camera go where you look, Thanks Again Melihk!

Hi Cosha
AS you may know I have got the same HT and you are right as in; the trainer switch is "INH" by default and since it's biased by a spring return it's always in the "OFF" position; being a trainer switch it's for safety "I'm sure you know the trainer buddy protocol" as in the master TX holds the switch in the "ON" position allowing the trainee to fly but as soon as the trainee "mucks up" the master simply lets go of the switch that then returns to the off position. I'm using a "rubber band" until I decide to replace the switch or not. I have the 9C and by default switch "H" is the trainer switch. "any way you are one lucky devil to get that HT"
Yes very lucky i am
I thought as much, ill have to switch over the switches im sure its a easy job one the tx is open
i could still use Channel "H" witht eh spring switch for a bumb drop or something
when you say you use a rubber band? i have to pull switch towards me to turn on i guess your just using the band around the H switch?
it is such a nice design for a HT and well built
Hi Cosha
The rubber band is around the switch then pulled up and hooked onto the DR switch keeping the "H" switch in the "ON" position, once I get used to pan and tilt in the air I will then change it to a normal switch.

Ah ok that makes sense

i had vissions of elesticated badns wrapped all over the TX
I think ill design something on the cnc machine tonight i just got a great idea!

Hi Cosha
Do you have CNC at home or it's at work? Oh by the way when you are done can I have one please. It will look better than a rubber band on my TX

"You clever man"
I wish

it took me a full year to get that working, i built it all myself and wired the boards myself and designed the frame myself also
well i already have a few designs inside my head, i have a whole book of concepts art photography designs etc.. that i need to complete!
My brain has a very very high creative and imagination system going on, i dont switch off so my doc tells me
i also get worked up when i cant work something out my brains saids you can do this but i get stuck and it gets me worked up

Hi all, i changed the channels to 6 and 7 last night quickly and had a quick set up, works so so well!
i had a mix on channel 6 so it was confusing me
