Hey Mongrel!

There are interessting products, looks very nice Wink
Can you tell us something about the improved fatshark goggle?
The EPP flying wings are interesting, too!

Best regards
Heiko
Hello All,

Just another update to advise you all of the new Fat Shark FS-HD1. A HD 720P camera that records onboard, but puts out standard 4:3 to the TX so you can fly with goggles while it records.

You can read about it, watch the video and purchase in our store here... http://www.mongrelgear.com.au/news-mainm...-hd-camera
Looks sweet!
The lens seems to be the same like on KillerCCD (but I´m sure there are some modificatios).
I think the cam is very intresting
But first i need a rx/tx
More info about the goggles will be nice

i am a fpv starter and have nothing yet

No Problem - All the info on the goggles can be found here...

I have seen them first hand, and they really are a great product AND with the new BASE version coming, you will no longer have to purchase the unit with the RX built in.
Very intresting but i use the 2.4G allready on my DX7
Will it not have problems?
The 300 meters is the grond distance not the flight distance i suppose?
About the camera how can you use pan/tilt on that longsize camera?
I have much to learn Huh
2.4g Radio and 2.4G Video don't mix.

The HD camera does not pan and tilt. There are a lot of people who don't want pan and tilt. I have it, and never use it.
Very cool! I always thought the video recorded directly onboard looked so much better than the wireless video. Nice package there. I need a second job! Smile
there's a usb port on it right?
so you can reflash the firmware with your own ? maybe the original firmware source is directly provided? (i say that because fatshark page says its running linux, and indeed, it looks like a davinci board which can only run linux for h264)
I can see a lot of potential uses if one can reprogram stuff inside
