you will break a lot of antennas and break a lot of sma connectors off the video transmitter. You gain nothing from having it on the bottom of the tail vs. on top of the tail. Polarization is the important thing.

But, the rest looks awesome! you're going to have a blast!
tell me more about Polarization
Just watch this.

^^^ thats a great tutorial. Best to keep things vertical, unless you want to fly directly overhead (altitude flights).
Thanks for the info

I use this one

Lots of antenna here

I see i need a tracker
No tracker, only when you want to fly far away in al directions. Omni will keep you covered for about 1-2km. If you want to go further use a patch. But behind the patch you will still have good video. You just can't fly that far away behind it.
it all sucks
No image when turning on the motor.
Used both antenne the patch was better.
after 20 m signal was lost
and now my transmitter doesn't send anymore.
I think im going to use my 1.3G again Angry
sounds to me like you had a faulty video transmitter.
Yes

I am still waiting for a reply from bevrc
Because the TX does not have any shielding.
Maybe the have to use some platic heatsinktube or metal box for it.
When i tape the TX it works so one or more contacts are lose.

finally i talked with them.
No problem to send it back BevRC Smile
I changed my setup again

I put on my 1.3G 850mw TX again and put my OSD inside of the plane.

Also i put the antenne on the 3pot again.
I hope it will fly better with the spektrum AR7000
With the AR6100 i had connection problems.
We will see what happen.

FIRST FPV MEETING NEXT WEEKEND !!!!!!!! Yeah
