Oops .. sorry.

It should have to do something with the fact that the radio dens out a parabolic signal which doesn't cover this place (same line as you sit on, totally right or left from you)
I was also flying just 2 meters above the ground, so this has also something to do with it.
At 150 m away from you, you should fly higher than 2m because the ground and obstacles on the ground disturb the signal (reflections!?). If you not on a hill or something, it's better to fly an angle of 70° than 90°.
as I now you should add 10m fore each 100m range. so if you would fly 150m away you should fly at the minimum 15m above ground. but its also dependent about which RX you use. with my Schulze RX I can fly lower than 10m for 300m and more. at at last I flown 550m away just 15m above ground an I didn't had any problems

Thanks ygramul !
Shortly after I watched your videos I built myself a quadcopter

It is coolest thing I tried since getting into RC 3 years ago.
I couldn't wait for counter rotating props to arrive and modified my quad into tricopter, now I have servo for rudder and can use whatever props .
I wonder if anyone know of good simulator esp. for tricopter.
I tried Y-UFO model that is available for realflight G4, i wish it was more stable.
