Dear fellow FPV-ers,

During a nightflying session at the FPV event in l'Aigle Hartwig managed to get his Ez high up in a tree on final landing approach. Despite our best attempts to get it out, it is probably still stuck up there.

On behalf of team ImmersionRC I'd like to offer a ImmersionRC EzAntennaTracker to the person(s) that manages to get it out and remove the electronic bits and send it over to Hartwig in Germany. He doesn't care much about the plane (that can be scrapped), but the electronics are valueable to him.

Any adventerous FPV-ers that would like to give it a try? Obviously eternal fame and glory will be yours when pictures of the retrieved plane are posted in this topic. The attached Google map screenshot provides the location of the plane and I'm sure Hartwig will chime in here with the exact GPS coordinates.

Cheers,

Sander.
Uhh, that's too bad Sad
Hope some French guys can rescue his plane!

Hello,
A fellow club this load case.
He contacted the fire department, they came to see but it is not possible for them to recover.
He is now in contact with a company of pruning.
If there is no other solution I would go with my chainsaw for felling the tree ...
You need to insert a tree detector in your ezosd lol!

Hi Muppet, any news yet? I sent a couple of emails, but didn't get a reply anymore. Since I live more than 1000km away, I'm totally dependent on you guys, so any help will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Hartwig
Chainsaw will work for sure ...Wish I was there . I have a set of tree climer's and belt . Get it right down ,.
One of my planes landed in a nearly 20m high tree once(almost 2km from LC, and in dence forrest!).

I retrieved it by using a local lumberjack i know. He climbed up and got it down for me. They have proper gear for climbing trees. You can also try someone that works with maintances of the electrical grid for example, the have also gear for climbing poles etc..
Yes , I have that gear form my old day's. Just a note , the gear that the electrical worker's use will not work on tree's .
Hi! Any updates regarding the plane rescue?
i think he is always up in the tree Smile
