haha thanks Kmart, no way I'm skipping an EagleTree competition. I actually thought I'd be flying on the weekend but I lost the video transmitter (3rd one in the 4th flight) while flying into a ... actually, I better keep quiet, I've been sued for this kind of stuff before
anyhow, I thought I'd have a better vid ... turns out that's what I need to enter with this month. No worries though, I have no plans on keeping that prize if I do win

you actually "lost" the video transmitter? Or it quit? Yikes either way!
Well, if you dont want that OSD, I'll stick it on my FPV truck...

aaron_gx: no, I have a habit of knocking these off my planes in flight. a metal pole at ~80km/h will do that sometimes

the last TX got lost in the river when I went there for a swim together with the Zeph. the 3rd one fried as I knocked the antenna off it in flight. it's a hard life in the mountains

gotcha, trappy. Can you build the tx into the fuse, and build an antenna into a winglet or something? Home built antennas can be made any way you like them to, usually with better signal results than stock dipoles also.
nope. I always lose the VTx when I use a new position for mounting until I get the weak spots dialled in. it's being held down by hot glue and tape now, should be more than sufficient.
