Hi everyone,
Me and my FPV friends just got a Tracker2 and I was wondering what to expect the first flight with the head tracker. Does flying with it and looking around come naturally or do you have to think about it a lot at first? I have it set up so that if I get disoriented I can flip a switch and turn off the head tracker and have the camera go back to center. Just looking for some thoughts.

Thanks,

Red the Elder
flying with tracker is absoluty perfect, the first flight is little hard (trackr2 drift Sad ) but after it's excellent and very natural for fly.

for me flying without headtracker is really hard now and when i fly without i turn the head all the times Big Grin

Fore me Flying with headtracker is very naturally. I never head to think about it.
Its very comfortable if you fly curves your able to look to to the side and up so you can see where you fly next.

Flying without HT is very hart especially if you fly at low level because you have no real orientation.

Welcome Eric,

Dont forget the video!!

I like how people can turn the tracker on and off, i think this is a great idea incase of confusion!

doies the track2 "click" when it is back to zero? i used to see alot of videos like this but now hardly any? can this feature be turned on and off?

The trackr2 works through the trainer port so the trainer switch turns it on and off. I have Futaba Gear so I can turn on just chanel 5 & 6 to operate on the trainer switch. When you release the trainer switch(turn Trackr OFF) the servos on the pan & tilt go back to the position of the switches or buttons on the transmitter or if you have some drift on the trackr you can reset it so this is probably what you see.

I have some video on Vemo here is my first FPV flight

great video! Fore the First FPV flight it looks great. by time passed you learn to fly a little bit smoother sometime it looks a little bit frantic.
Please told us how you feel if you fly with HT.
