yes i build a auto for safety, of others. i prefere my plane gets damaged and not people or property.

i think i will look into this again more soon.

the reason i like this system is that i can teach myself along the way, so i can learn and hope to add my own features, like parachute deployment.

even if the aircraft looses rc link, the auto pilot will keep the aircraft in circle - but this is still unsafe if it not seen, so a parachute will stop the flight and bring it down slow and safe!

then use rf beacon to find it, or back up fpv plane!Big Grin

Ardupilot can remeber te starting point, and you can set it, to go back to the starting point if it loushes the signal, and it will be circleing over you as long as it has power.

It will not land safely, but whe could say, it can do a guided crashlanding..... Big Grin

But it will do it in a place, you set, in adrus memory, not over the city, etc.....

This function is what made me.... Blush

For that, you do not nead Ardupilot at all..

A simple PCM would do the trick. Wink

But if you would like to do it in a predetermined place, than again, with a little programming, Ardupilot..... Rolleyes
