I introduce myself
Hi!

This thread is only for yourself introductions!

Of course, I´ll start:

My name is Heiko and I am from Dessau, Germany. I am flying rc planes since I was 14.

My fleet:

- 2m electric glider self-built
- depron/foam glider Tyto
- Cessna 337 Pelican (JEDA-TEAM) => FPV
- Twinstar 2 => FPV
- Smart Fly 200 (electric glider) => currently rebuild to FPV
- and some other small fun planes...

Last summer, my friend Kevin and I decided to build the fpv-community.de, a German community all about
immersion flight. Today we have over 172 users and a lot of visitors from all over the world. We both
think, that this is really cool, because we started the FPV-Community as free-time project for all German speaking fpv-pilots. Because of the success of the website and by popular demand, we decided to open an international FPV-Community. And here it is Smile

My fpv equipment:

-Fatshark Video goggle with OSC-Cam
-Airwave-tx (but i´ll purchase the new Intel-tx) and a 200mw-tx, which I can´t use in Germany, cause it´s forbidden
- Pan/Tilt from Globe FLight
- MagTrack V2
- Graupner MC-12 with MagTrack converter

I am looking forward for interessting discussions here in forum.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Best regards
Heiko

RE: I introduce myself
Hi
My name is Gordon and I fly in south east Berkshire in the UK. I have been flying FPV for about a year though R/C flying for a lot longer. Having quite a lot of bother with my club wrt FPV which isn't helpfull.
Flying on FPV-UK advanced equipment with Track R2. Currently investigation whether it will work with MPX Tx's as I am unhappy with Futaba performance.

FPV fleet;
EasyStar
Seagull Spacewalker
and when my Heli flying improves a lot more a Belt CP...don't hold your breath on this one though!

RE: I introduce myself
Hi,
I'm from the Gold Coast, Australia. Probably only done 2 or 3 hours total FPV. Generally I just fly locally when I get some spare time. Got an easyglider electric with the basic rangevideo 500mw AV gear a homemade patch. My other FPV plane is an EPP aerobatic thing called 'unique' (stupid name) with 10mw IF 2.4Ghz TX & RX with a GP patch. Particularly enjoy scooting around the park nice and low, trying not to hit things.
Cheers to you all !
