Video Key Chain Spy cam
Hi all,
I pick up this Key chain spy camera off of e-bay for $15.00 with free shipping.
For the price its not bad at all, Looks just like a car remote controller.
There are two deferent cam they sell at e-bay I have both. One has the built in memory a 2, 4, or 8GB cam. The other you have to buy a micro sd card. The sd card I have is a 4GB.
It record in AVI
video format at 640x480
Photo at 1280x960
Battery is a 280mha 3.7v
But there a draw back with these cam, Its a hit or miss. You might get one that take good video, or one the video not the best. Video 2 you will see why I said its a hit or miss with these cam.
The first video is my cam with the micro sd card.

This is with the other spy cam with the built in 8GB memory

RE: Key Chain Spy cam
That cool Jack, post your video when you can.
For anyone that get this cam, the manual sucks big time!
If you need help understanding it, let me know and I'll try to help you out. The li-po is charge by a USB plug that comes with the cam. Most of the time I leave it connected to the pc for about 2 hours.

I find out the hard way, don't charge the battery and not use the cam for a day or two, Somehow the battery drains down, I think its because of the date and time is still running even when you are not using it.
So charge the battery the day you want to use it.
Hi all,

Check this out, this guy Comparison of an 808 key chain camera to a Panasonic TZ5 set to 640 x 480. The scenes were shot simultaneously with the cameras side by side. They were sync’d in Vegas 7.0 and alternated between scenes. The date-time stamped scenes are from the $15 key chain cam. It is recorded to a 8GB micro SDHC card.

RE: Key Chain Spy cam
Hi!
Soooo coooolBig Grin
I will buy such a cam too, but with a SD-card slot! The image quality is really impressive.
Dennis, did you opende the camera box? I want to know what type of battery is in it (lipo yes, but what physical size). I hope there is a Silverlit X-Twin 1s Lipo working, you can change them easyly with a higher one with more mAh.

Best regards

RE: Key Chain Spy cam
Hi Heiko,

I open up the cam case, it is a 1s, but there no writing on the li-po.
its about 2cm long, about 2cm wide.
The manual say its a 280mha 3.7v

Well so far I'm very happy with mine.
