Hi friends!
I´ve read a lot about the Dragon Link UHF system to replace 35MHz transmission. I know there is a veeeeeerrrrryyy big thread in rcgroups. But I have some question: 1) Where can I find a summary of all functions/installation. 2) Can i use the system legaly in Europe by replacing in my Graupner MC-12? and 3) Where to buy? Thanks for your help! Best regards Heiko The FPV-Community on Vimeo |

Thomas' support is absolutely excellent and his system is a very good alternative to Daniel's one: http://www.webx.dk/rc/uhf-link3/uhf-link3.htm http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=905915 Why buy a system from far east when you can get it from the EU (Denmark) ? RE: Dragon Link UHF System
yes it uses a few frequencies in the 2meter band and hops between them.
i am going the way of the dragon purely on performance and size. |

RE: Dragon Link UHF System
thats a real interesting system. What does one complete system cost? I just can find the prices for 12ch Receivers. But On the site there are also Pictures of a 8ch Receiver. What does the Transmitter cost?

"As i now th system uses frequencies between 800 and 900mhz an these frequencies are not allowed in Europe"
This is not good news, i think i almost lost RC link at around 600meters at the weekend! I am using Futaba 7CAP but i think my system on the easy star is not clean to RF Noise! I also read on RC groups but the threads get filled up with lots of usless information so very hard to find anything there! RE: Dragon Link UHF System
It's very reliable.
Just a note here... Thomas's UHF has been around and going well, but who do you think had the smarts to write the software to make his system work better than it originally did? (answer= Daniel Wee) Beta testers around the globe who are putting Daniel's Dragon Link through a good work out has proven it's ability to channel hop very well thus handling very congested air wave environment, capable of very long + reliable range, simple to use. The micro size, light weight and affordable price also makes this a very attractive item to own. And yes... this system works on 433Mhz frequency with 500mW output. For those who are interested in a set or to find out more detail info.. you can either go the RC Groups/ FPV/ Dragon Link thread/post number 1.... or email me jmstech1@gmail.com On the RCG Post #1, I will update it from time to time to save newbies the inconvenience to search though out the very lengthy Dragon Link thread for needed info. Bear in mind Dragon Link works just as good or better compare to other systems available now. ![]() Erwin... nice to see you ![]() OK I must go back to being that little hamster working in the back room.... I have lots of Dragon Links to solder together. RE: Dragon Link UHF System
Hello
Very interesting thread. I'm looking since sometime to put one UHF link to my paramotor. How cost Daniel Wee"s system? His range seem to be better than Thomas's system http://www.opale-paramodels.com |
