#1 I am in the starting stages of building my first fpv plane. I am looking at getting a gopro cam. From what i have seen i can record and view live video for flying at same time but a lot of builds i have looked at with a go pro they are using the gopro only for recording and not for fpv and they use a diffrent camera. Is there a reason a person shouldnt use a gopro for view and record?

#2 I am looking for a GoPro cam for sale for a reasonable price.
#3 may be intrested in buying a compleat fpv set up using a skywalker or wing.

Antenna on the front is gp patch and the one on the pole is lawmate stock. Antenna pole is about 1 meter high. I can fit my 9303 in the bag too also there is enough room for more than 3 5000 mah 4s lipos in side pockets.
Here is my first flight with the backpack everything was perfect till my cam connector got loose you can see on the video around 1.13 I was flying in manual mode with naza when the image went black, I switched to atti mode and gave power. Quad was about 250 m away and I spotted the tiny dot ascending, held the altitude and get it back on los by observing the way it moves around.

When I turn on the Eagletree the arrow "Radar" icon is supposed to be center near the "home" and then as I fly around it moves around. The problem is that when I turn it on the arrow "Radar" icon starts out at the top of the screen and moves around up there and never comes down near the "home" circle that is at the center of the screen. Any explanations for this?

Hi everybody!
I am new to Fpv and I have a 1 watt 1.3 ghz lawmate transmitter on a traxxas bandit rc car and the stock 72mhz receiver gets tons of interference from the video transmitter mounted on the car. Normally the car gets up to a quarter mile of range but with the fpv setup it barely goes 200 feet. Would switching the car's radio system to 2.4 ghz work better with the 1.3 ghz video transmitter? Can anybody tell me if there is a way to fix this?

Thank you,

Hello,

I've been watching some FPVs online that look fantastic (like this one), and thought this might be a fun and interesting hobby to get involved in. It is a bit daunting, though - there are a lot of options and it looks like lots of assembly is required, unless I want to get something like the parrot drone which looks a little underpowered for what I want to do (please correct me if I am wrong).

I am considering getting the ARF 6061 Quadcopter ARF Kit listed here, but the assembly is somewhat intimidating. Would you recommend starting with something simpler? How difficult are these to assemble? I am pretty tech-savvy and handy, but I deal in software primarily and not hardware, so troubleshooting might be a challenge. The thing I like about this model is it looks sturdy (I imagine I will be crashing a fair bit as I learn to use it) and powerful (I would like to be able to get some distance out of the copter).

Since it says it needs a LiPo battery and RC radio, I was going to pair it with this and this. Any advice/suggestions will help, thanks!
