FY 21 AP II with osd for sale Brand New in Box

I have a FY 21 AP II with OSD for sale.
Brand new in the box unopened.
I bought a few of these with some fpv projects in mind .
1 is going spare so selling for a great price of £255.00 including recorded delivery. Also collection is welcome .
Based in Lancashire Uk, so speedy delivery will be ensured and no nasty customs charges .

I have one of these in my Skywalker and believe me they live up to all the good reviews they get.

I found my FunJet but..

I found my FunJet but a tractor with a harvester found it first...

I lost my funjet i a field of high grass about a month ago, it was not very far away, just 100-200meters but I spent hours looking for it with no luck..
it was harder than usual because my funjet died in mid air and it dident respond when I tried to use my transmitter to make servo sounds or motor on/off as guiding.

yesterday when I went out to fly my new plane, I saw that the grass on the field was cut, so I went to have a look to see if there was anything left.

this is what I found, very small peices of my Funjet, right in the aeria where I had been looking.
I collected everything I could find and brought it home.

My daughter helped me with the crash investegation when I got home.
I dident recover everything, most of the things where in small pieces, and some of the equipment where totally lost.
the only two things that survived was one servo that was almost unharmed and more amazingly, my trusty old RCV922 camera actually still works ( but might need a new lens )!

Hello Everyone,

FPV is the reason I got into RC. I have yet to fly FPV, but I'm on my way in that direction.
I bought an Easy Star because (according to my research) it is both a good plane for beginning RC and FPV. I've been flying my EZ* for a few months, and taking video one of those cheap "spy cams". I can't wait until I get my eyes up there.

Since I started down this path I've noticed several other planes that would have been good options as well. If those other planes had been around, and I had known about some of them, I might not have bought the EZ*.

I imagine I will eventually get another plane (perhaps more than one) and since storms are preventing me from flying, I'm spending my time imagining a plane with all of my ideal features.

I'd like to know what your ideal features are.

For myself (at this point in time):
Able to fly slow and stable like the Slowbipe, but also able to fly as fast (or faster) than the Easy Star.
Easy to pack up and transport like the Easy Star.
Indestructible like the Intermodel Polymmersion.
Able to handle (slightly) higher winds and carry a (slightly) larger payload like the Maja, but still have 30 minute or more flights like the Slowbipe.

:PThat's the list... and this is a fantasy so let me just add: Comes complete with full FPV setup including goggles, head tracker, HD camera with pan/tilt and OSD all for <$500.

BevRC 5.8G Set

Hi all

I am working with a 5.8G set now because i had problems with my 2.4 spektrum stuff
I bought it @ BevRC in China
5.8G set

It is working fine and need less power then a 1.2/1.3G set
look my video 5.8G test
It uses only 0.2A instead of 0.5A
That is more then 2 times longer on a lipo.
On reviews they say it will go 1 mile without any problems.

When you buy those stuff please take attention of the power wires.
On the Chinees TX the red and black wires are not standard.
I almost blow up my Cam. Im lucky it still works.

Changing your glasses Fatsharks to receive 2.4 or 5.8GHz.

Materials needed:
- Glasses Fatshark.
- A 5.8 GHz receiver to integrate (http://fpv4ever.com/product.php?id_product=115)
- A 5V regulator (http://fpv4ever.com/product.php?id_product=86)
- A receiving antenna (http://fpv4ever.com/product.php?id_product=137)
- A connector panel rp-sma
- 1 switch.
- A dremel and an old dentist's drill.
- A package of granola, a beer and 1H30 labor.

We start by opening the glasses:

Disconnect the origin board:

Then make holes for ventilation all with a Dremel or other:

Install the switch that used to power the 5.8GHz receiver:

Take the original power in parallel through the switch, then return to the 5V regulator:

Control the 5v output and paste it into the glasses with hot glue:

Then connect the receiver power 5.8GHz, sort the the video out signal and the mass, and sound if necessary:

Set up the receiver and stick it with hot glue:

Connect the video signal wire on the video contact of the vVdeo IN jack (Pin 1 Ov (brown wire), Pin 2 Video In (orange wire), Pin 3 Audio (white wire)):

Reinstate the original board in the glasses:

Collapse all is ready for use:

Setting function:
connect the battery glasses, set the switch gasses on video In, turn the receiver 5.8GHz and now it works.

Hi All

I only just recently got a you tube account to try out the video stuff.

Is it just me, but they really screw with the quality and sound on there.

I have only put 2 videos up and the sound is really degraded and the pic quality is not too good at all.

What are the best settings to use with youtube?

I finally have a new FPV aircraft! I lost all my FPV equipment when I lost my Funjet, but here is my new project.
I chose ST models (also known as Ripmax) MX2 because it's all ready to go with motor, servos and esc already installed for a very reasonable price, and it's a good FPV size aswell and last but not least, it's made from Epo foam!

I made a new pod for all the FPV equipment.

I use: 500mw airwaves VTX
DPC-420 osd camera
Pantilt

Here is my maiden FPV flight, I forgot to program the headtracker chanels for my radio, and thats why there is no pan/tilt movments in this flight..
sorry for the crappy video quality, I have to get something better than the JXD318...

hi guys,
just wondering what would be best radio for dragon link,and what video works best and has 10km range 2.4, 1.2, 1.3, ?. its for a pz radian so 4 channel is all thats needed. my aim is to fly 10km away!

I am new to electric flight and am trying to read everything I can on the subject for a few months before I take the plunge. One thing I've noticed that there is a great difference in pricing on the same stuff. While it is generally true that you get what you pay for, it is also obvious that markups vary widely and that the old adage may always not apply.

So I'd like to hear your thoughts on Turnigy (Hobby King) batteries and motors. They seem awfully cheap. Are they any good.

I planning to build my build own glider with the camera. My coceptional design is like easystar glider. It is for my final year project. Currently i am a mechatronics student and no idea how to build rc plane. The infomations i got from web is not complete. So do u guys have any website or books to help me to build a rc plane start from calculation, concepts and etc..

Does someone have the same problem ?

hi guys,
can any one help,im looking to fly my pz radian to my mates house almost 10km away using the Dx5e that come with the PZ Radian,i would love to get a list of whats needed to do this and where to get them from.
i would like to get that sort of range from the Dx5e first and then look at the video side of things after that.
,ive seen a thred about the Dx6 but not sure if the some goes with the Dx5e? boosters,patch anntenas what works with the Dx5e and what doesnt? many thanks to all who can help me on this matter. jake.

I have been experimenting with FPV using T-Rex helicopter for almost 2 years but still find it both extremely difficult and expensive. Now I turned to the very stable Gaui 330X S Quad Flyer and beat my old record directly with 2 consecutive flight without a crash. Less nerve and more joy!
