I've been watching some FPVs online that look fantastic (like this one), and thought this might be a fun and interesting hobby to get involved in. It is a bit daunting, though - there are a lot of options and it looks like lots of assembly is required, unless I want to get something like the parrot drone which looks a little underpowered for what I want to do (please correct me if I am wrong).

I am considering getting the ARF 6061 Quadcopter ARF Kit listed here, but the assembly is somewhat intimidating. Would you recommend starting with something simpler? How difficult are these to assemble? I am pretty tech-savvy and handy, but I deal in software primarily and not hardware, so troubleshooting might be a challenge. The thing I like about this model is it looks sturdy (I imagine I will be crashing a fair bit as I learn to use it) and powerful (I would like to be able to get some distance out of the copter).

Since it says it needs a LiPo battery and RC radio, I was going to pair it with this and this. Any advice/suggestions will help, thanks!
