Dear friends of FPV flying,
Here it is, the long awaited, much-desired aircraft which offers enough space for all your equipment and even can take some extra weight. You are free to choose how you lay the cables – without any spaghetti syndrome.

The “Maja” is developed by the German Borjet aeromodels company and is a real workhorse for FPV with a high loading capacity, high-quality flight characteristics and enough room for all your equipment.
We, the FPV-Community, had the honor of testing this aircraft exclusively. On the following pages you are going to find all the results.
Have fun!
Markus Schumacher (Mashu)

This is the SimpleOSD Ultralight Edition from Flytron.com. It weighs about 3 grams and is roughly the same size as an SD memory card.

The OSD came nicely packaged in an anti-ESD bag (a sign of a serious manufacturer). The total package size was tiny, which makes the shipping cheap. The OSD does not come with any physical manual, but you are directed to an online manual. The manual is very clear and full of pictures and diagrams, which explains everything in detail.
The PCB is made from a thin glass fiber lamination making this OSD super light weight. I work in the electronics manufacturing business so I couldn’t help admiring the layout design of the tiny PCB. This designer knows his stuff

Welcome all to my overdue review of the DT-3K Hybrid Head tracker!

This is my first review for the FPV-Community and I got really excited to be part of the review team! So I was kindly sent a DT-3K Head tracker unit from Flytron who builds and designs these head trackers (along with loads of great electronic FPV/AP devices).

This pan/tilt system comes pretty much prebuilt. It’s made from CNC milled 1.5 mm glass fiber and is glued together with CA glue, which makes it very strong. The milling quality is high and there are a lot of holes that simplifies wire installiton. It weights about 60 grams empty. The pan/tilt comes prepainted, the canopy part in gray and the tilt in red.

Today, we will review the “EasyCAP” USB2.0 capturing device with audio. It’s a nice little capture device that will result in high quality captures with a live preview on screen, and no lag. I’ve used the EasyCAP with my laptop as my only display for a number of flights with no problems. If you’re looking for a cheap easy way to use your laptop to capture your flights at the field, and maybe need an extra display for onlookers to watch, read on…

My first thought was “wow, so many colors on the case”. All of the buttons on the cam for changing the settings are in different colors. The OSC cam appears unusual but nice to look at, at the same time. The metal casing gives it a very solid first impression and both connectors, as well as the mounting screw for the lens confirmed the camera was going to be a winner.

Upon unpacking, I first noticed the small size of the video TX and the professional looking video transmitter. Up to now I used a normal (“standard”) receiver and transmitter system and its ok so far. But the new transmitter is slightly bigger, heavier and has a more professional look compared to my “old” transmitter.
