This is my first review for the FPV-Community and I got really excited to be part of the review team! So I was kindly sent a DT-3K Head tracker unit from Flytron who builds and designs these head trackers (along with loads of great electronic FPV/AP devices).

GlobeFlight Pan/Tilt for the TwinStar

Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009

This pan/tilt system comes pretty much prebuilt. It’s made from CNC milled 1.5 mm glass fiber and is glued together with CA glue, which makes it very strong. The milling quality is high and there are a lot of holes that simplifies wire installiton. It weights about 60 grams empty. The pan/tilt comes prepainted, the canopy part in gray and the tilt in red.

EasyCAP USB2.0 Capture Device

Tuesday, September 15th, 2009

Today, we will review the “EasyCAP” USB2.0 capturing device with audio. It’s a nice little capture device that will result in high quality captures with a live preview on screen, and no lag. I’ve used the EasyCAP with my laptop as my only display for a number of flights with no problems. If you’re looking for a cheap easy way to use your laptop to capture your flights at the field, and maybe need an extra display for onlookers to watch, read on…

Review GF-OSC FPV CCD Camera 420TVL

Saturday, July 18th, 2009

My first thought was “wow, so many colors on the case”. All of the buttons on the cam for changing the settings are in different colors. The OSC cam appears unusual but nice to look at, at the same time.  The metal casing gives it a very solid first impression and both connectors, as well as the mounting screw for the lens confirmed the camera was going to be a winner.

Globe Flight 2.4 GHz 4 channel High End 10mW A/V Transmitter and Receiver

Sunday, June 21st, 2009

Upon unpacking, I first noticed the small size of the video TX and the professional looking video transmitter. Up to now I used a normal (“standard”) receiver and transmitter system and its ok so far. But the new transmitter is slightly bigger, heavier and has a more professional look compared to my “old” transmitter.
